Approaching painting as a site of accumulation, transformation, and material exchange, Belén works with oil paint, raw pigments, metals, rainwater, and salt to create surfaces shaped by reaction, instability, and duration. Layers emerge, collapse, and shift over time, echoing unstable states of perception and memory.
